Through their websites, these newcomers can set out their stalls of boutique producers, new wines, case selections and limited editions. Wine Australia Regional Heroes programme
The two tastings held at the Speckled Hen during this promotion were a great success. Simon Howalnd introduced te concept of regional wine differences in Australian wines and introduced some new grape varieties.
The Vasse Felix Margaret River wines tasting was also successful. All the wines showed well and Chris Unger from the UK agent for this winery ably stepped into Roly's shoes to present the wines in Roly's absence.
