En Rama Sherry Once again we have received an allocation of the special limited production Gonzalez Byass En Rama sherry. En Rama 2011 marks a milestone in the Gonzalez Byass history –it is the 75th anniversary of the iconic Pepito logo. Tio Pepito dressed in his hat and jacket has become one of Spain’s national symbols. ‘En Rama’ is the local jargon used by winery workers to refer to the wine in its unrefined and most delicate state prior to normal filtration and bottling. This is a delicious distinctive aromatic sherry with lovely fresh bread aromas with hints of almonds, savoury flavours and a long clean citrus finish. A great example of young dry sherry.
